Catalonia Riviera Maya Resort & Spa is situated in the peaceful ambience of Puerto Aventuras, located directly on the beach of the beautiful Mexican Caribbean and in the heart of the Mayan Riviera. Puerto Aventuras is of easy access at only 15 minutes drive from Playa del Carmen and 80 km (50 miles) south of Cancun International Airport, in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico. The white sandy beaches, crystal clear water, a great marina with restaurants and bars at a walking distance as well as a 9 hole golf course makes Puerto Aventuras a place that stands out, a place for those looking for the authentic Caribbean. To experiment Mayan adventure is to live the unending exciting activities that the Mayan World has to offer.

Facilities
The resort provides 5 swimming pools, including a pool for children, 6 restaurants, 7 bars including a fully equipped sports bar with full swing golf simulator, disco, fitness center, 2 tennis courts and kid's club for children from 4 to 12 years old. The Entertainments programme is co-ordinated daily by the entertainment staff and offers a variety of activities day and night for all adults and children of all ages. NEW: Spa Alegria set on two floors, Japanese Tepanyaki restaurant (dress code elegant), free Wi Fi and renovated Pure Chill Out Beach Bar.

The resort provides 328 comfortable standard rooms and 52 spacious suites, spread horizontally along the property on 3 and 4 story buildings and villas. The standard rooms are equipped with either 1 king size bed or two double beds, A/C, satellite TV, direct access phone, safety deposit box (with extra charge), a full bathroom with hair dryer, and a terrace or balcony.
