Almunecar is one of the most important coastal towns in the region due to the natural beauty of La Herradura, a lovely bay that is enclosed by two small headlands - Mona Point to the east and Cerro Gordo in the west.

Accommodation
The rooms are spacious and comfortable and include balcony, satellite TV, bathroom with hair dryer, fridge, heating, air-conditioning available from 01 June 30 September, telephone and optional safe-deposit box. Rooms are cleaned and towels changed 5 times a week.
