Hotel Description
The Sunrise Taro Beach sits directly on the fine and white sandy beach of Costa Calma, in front of the shopping centre Sotavento with banks, medical centre, bars, restaurants, souvenirs shops and boutiques. The hotel was built in 1986 and renovated in 1998. The airport is 65km away.
Facilities
There is 24-hour reception service, currency exchange, car rentals, boutique, physician and laundry in the hotel. Supermarket and other shops within 50m. Pets are not permitted. There are two outdoor swimming pools (one of which is heatable) and a children’ pool, recliners, umbrellas. The white sand beach is suitable for children. Water sports are available. The hotel offers entertainment with sports and game activities during the day and in the evening various shows, live music and such. Sport activities in the hotel and on the beach include tennis and tennis lessons, table tennis lessons, table tennis, billiards, fitness room, volleyball, miniature golf, sauna, massage, scuba diving lessons and wind surfing.
All Inclusive
The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:30–10:00), lunch (12:30–14:00) and dinner (18:00–21:00), all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. During meals hot drinks, soft drinks, wine and beer are offered. Snack’s buffet is available at the snack bar at 14:30 as well as tea & coffee time with biscuits & cakes between 15:30 & 16:30. Ice cream is offered at the main restaurant during lunch & dinner and at the snack bar during snack times. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like hot drinks, soft drinks, wine, beer, spirits and some cocktails are served at the pool bar (11:00–18:00), the snack bar (11:00–18:00, cocktails excluded) and at the salon bar.
Rooms
The hotel has 266 units in total. These feature living space, telephone, satellite TV, fan, refrigerator or minibar, hairdryer, safe (for rent) and balcony or patio with ocean or garden view. The rooms are cleaned daily; change of sheets and towels occurs twice and three times per week respectively. |
