The main Greek islands of Corfu, Crete, Kefalonia, Kos and Rhodes account for more than 80% of tourist visiting the islands. For family entertainment value Crete and Rhodes offer the best water parks and things to do for families with both Corfu and Zante coming close runners up. Halkidiki on the mainland offers some great beaches and countryside but if the children want an action packed holiday then stick to the main five Greek islands.
