 Never failing to charm her visitors Kos is the second largest of the Dodecanese group and lies north west of Rhodes. If you're dreaming of dazzling sunshine and glorious beaches then Kos is the place for you. There are 40 kilometres of beach in Kos. from Kardamena's long stretch of sand to the secluded bays of the south coast. The most popular form of transport on Kos is bicycle although the road network linking the resorts is very good and affords every chance to explore the island at your leisure. There's a lot to see and do on Kos. In Kos Town visit the magnificent 14th-century Castle of the Knights, or while away the afternoon in one of the many cafes or patisseries that line the shady squares. Take a dip in the healing spas of Thermes or for a real taste of Greek life, visit the pretty old village of Kefalos with its magnificent views.
