San Antonio beach Spain is made up of many regions but the main three areas visited by holidaymakers are the Balearic isles, the Canary isles and the ever popular Spanish Costa's. The Balearic Islands are an archipelago in the western Mediterranean Sea, near the eastern coast of the Iberian Peninsula. They form an autonomous community and a province of Spain, of which the capital city is Palma de Mallorca. Majorca is the largest - and most popular of the islands, followed by Menorca and Ibiza. The Canary Isles sit just over 70 miles west of the north African coast and offer visitors year-round sunshine with average temperatures in the low to mid twenty's every month of the year. The four main islands in order of size are Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote and Gran Canaria. The Spanish Costa's have been a favourite holiday destination with British families since the start of the package holiday boom in the 1960's. Its attraction is the short flight time from the UK, its climate and its choice of food. Benidorm in the Costa Blanca is still the Brits favourite with a weeks inclusive package holiday starting from only £190 per person.

Currency: Euro. ATMs are widespread and are generally the cheapest and most convenient method of obtaining money. Money can be exchanged at bureaux de change and major hotels, but banks give the best rates.

Language: Spanish is the official language, but English is widely understood in areas frequented by tourists.

What's usually included in an AI holiday

There are four levels of inclusions that cover the food and drink element of the accommodation package. These are Light - Standard/Bronze - Classic/Silver and Gold/Premier.
